Networking Opportunities

All Fall Regional Forums 2021 include the opportunity to network with your peers in the Remo.co platform before the scheduled start time. The Northern California Regional Forum on November 16, 2021 will also include a networking session following the panel discussion. To participate, simply turn on your camera and microphone to engage in video conversations. 

Interactive Panel Discussions

All Fall Regional Forums will include interactive panel discussions with forum speakers. You are able to ask questions directly to the panel and provide comments through video for lively, real-time discussions.

For instructions on how to participate in the discussion and submit questions, please view this helpful video. The video will also be available to watch in each forum event.

Roundtable Discussions (NERF)

The Northeast Regional Forum will include a Roundtable Discussion session following the forum panel discussion from 2:30 - 3:15pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Roundtable topics and abstracts are provided in the document below (click to open):

NERF November 2021 - Roundtable Abstracts

As you enter the session, you will see from a bird’s eye view, the “floor” with tables. Tables will be pre-labeled with roundtable topics, but seating is open during the speaking presentations and panel discussion. There will be a 5-minute transition break after the panel discussion to get seated at the table topic of your choice for the roundtable discussions. 

  • Each table will be limited to 10 attendees plus a facilitator and scribe.
  • Tables will be labeled by topic and filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • If a table is full, please find another table to join.
  • If you find yourself at the wrong table, you may remove yourself by double-clicking on an empty seat at another table.

How to Access Event Platform

Follow these steps to access the forum events on the Remo.co platform:

  • Visit the Session Schedule tab, locate the event and click the arrow to expand the session information.
  • In that section, click on the event URL to be directed to the event registration page in Remo
    • If you attended a Remo event previously, you will be asked to register for the event using the email address you registered with for the forum.
    • If you have not yet attended a Remo event, you will be asked to create a new account with your email address, name and password followed by clicking “Register Event”.
  • Once the event starts, click the ‘Join Event Now’ button and you will be directed into the virtual event platform.
  • As you enter the session, you will see from a bird’s eye view, the “floor” with tables.
  • To “sit” at a table, double-click over the seat you wish to fill.
    • If a table is full, please find another table to join.
    • If you find yourself at the wrong table, you may remove yourself by double-clicking on an empty seat at another table.
  • All tables are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We advise that you log on early so that you can test your microphone and camera as well as troubleshoot any technical issues. To ensure your camera and microphone will work properly, please close any other open browsers before you enter the Remo event.
